Meet and Greet Candidates at Boil and Stump Sept. 24

The Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce biennial Boil & Stump is set for Wednesday, Sept. 24, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Kaminski House. This is an old-fashioned political stump meeting featuring candidates for federal, state and local office.  All three candidates for State Superintendent of Education have confirmed that they will be in attendance.

This is an excellent opportunity to hear from and meet these candidates.  The event is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Confirmed candidates so far are:

·         Molly Mitchell Spearman, Candidate for State Superintendent of Education

·         Ed Murray, Candidate for State Superintendent of Education

·         S.C. Rep. Stephen Goldfinch, Candidate for S.C. House District 108

·         Vida Miller, Candidate for S.C. House District 108

·         Sen. Vincent Sheheen, Candidate for Governor

·         Steve French, Candidate for Governor

·         U.S. Rep. Tom Rice, Candidate for Congress, District 7

·         Dr. Gloria Bromell-Tinubu, Candidate for Congress, District 7
