Georgetown County School District Career and Technology Education (CATE) initiative recognized and celebrated the accomplishments of 83 CATE students who completed career programs of study and 26 students who won awards at state competitions in FBLA and SKILLS USA student organizations.

The District hosted a student luncheon on May 18 in the board room. School board members, district personnel, administrators, business and community leaders, and parents participated in these efforts.

Jonee' Lewis (WBTW Channel 13) served as the mistress of ceremony; Amber Moore (former Andrews High welding graduate - employed with Santee Cooper) delivered words of inspiration; and Terry Cox (CBHS and SKILLS USA Advisor of the Year 2015) was the keynote speaker.

CATE is on the move in Georgetown County School District. Congratulations!
