Zharbray Livingston, a junior at Georgetown High, participated in the Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series summer academic program in Columbia. This was the sixth consecutive summer Livingston, son Learnant and Sherry Livingston, has participated in the University of South Carolina program. The program is designed for academically talented middle and high school students. Enrollment in each course is capped at 20 students to ensure extraordinary quality of learning and faculty-student interaction.

Livingston also participated in the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in June in Lowell, MA. The Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders is an honors-only program for high school students from across the country who want to enter science or technology fields. All attending students must have a 3.5 GPA or better to addend.

The purpose of the Congress is to honor, motivate and direct the top students in our country who aspire to be scientists, engineers, and technologists and encourage them to stay true to their dreams. After the event, the Academy provides and ongoing path, plan and resources to help support them in their quest.

Congratulations!
